My Fellow Ambazonians,

We are enduring a day when the need to address the Southern Cameroons refugee crisis is at an all-time high, unfortunately so is the level of anti-Ambazonian refugee rhetoric and misinformation about our refugees.  Yet, our refugees are octogenarians, widows, widowers, young men, and women, children- ordinary people like you and me, who have lost everything because of the genocidal onslaught in our homeland. They’ve left their entire livelihoods behind, often with just the clothes on their backs. They've gone too far distant territories to start over. They want to make sure their kids can go to school. They want to work and they want to contribute to communities. Just like us, they seek a life of dignity, freedom, and security.

 Through the awesome commitment of the Department of Health and Social Services -DHSS, we have set in motion an inclusive framework to enhance support for our refugees globally; I, therefore, call on us all, to rise up as one man and one nation, join the UNHCR on this occasion of World Refugee

 Day - June 20, 2021, and put a smile on the faces of our refugees particularly in neighboring Nigeria and neighboring French Cameroun where the situations are deplorable.
