The Interim Government of the  Federal Republic of Ambazonia represents  the People  of the Former British Southern Cameroons  and their aspirations as declared on 1st of October 2017:  To restore  their Independence,  which was  voted for,  on 11 February 1961 and endorsed by United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 1608(XV) of 21 April 1961.

We are servants and guardians of the Restoration of Statehood, Independence, and Sovereignty of the People of the former Southern Cameroons as the Interim Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia. As a successor structure of the Governing Council, the Interim Government with its President Chris Anu, is validated and legitimized by the People by virtue of their response of the September 22, 2017 global demonstrations, October 1, 2017 Declaration of Independence, and Ground Zero execution of Ghost Towns, Self Defense Initiatives, No School Policies, All Ambazonia Consultative Council Conference, Million Man March on White House, and much more.

Our Mission

  • To Fast-track the complete independence restoration and international recognition of the of Federal Republic of Ambazonia.
  • To Establish a sound governance system for the Federal Republic of Ambazonia.

What we do

  • Revitalizing targeted diplomacy and advocacy with friendly countries, regional and  international partners and organizations.
  • Mobilizing financial, physical, technology and human resources for the Federal Republic of Ambazonia and its people.
  • Ensuring adequate social, health and other humanitarian relief support for displaced Ambazonians.
  • Re-engineering active citizenship for improved community mobilization, and ownership of the Independence restoration movement.
  • Establishing a robust and independent legislature for the Federal Republic of Ambazonia.
  • Creating an astute independent judiciary system anchored on justice for all for the Federal Republic of Ambazonia
  • Restoring a credible and efficient performance-driven government for the Federal Republic of Ambazonia.
  • Enabling self-defense and self-rule for the people of Ambazonia.
